Willie Roy Linkous Jr., 82, of Bramwell Road left this world, surrounded by his family to be in heaven with God on July 30,2019. Born in Bluefield on February 2, 1937, he was the youngest child of the late Willie Roy Linkous Sr. and Fannie Elizabeth Linkous. He is also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters, Harold Linkous, Fredia, and a twin sister, Faye that died as a baby and one grandson, Jacob Dewayne Davidson. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty and half years, Marlene Bailey Linkous, three children, Katrina Linkous-Davidson with husband Mark and Dana Linkous-Hylton, Larry, and Kevin Linkous and fiancé Tina Shrader. Three grandchildren Mark Davidson Jr., Tiffany Davidson, and Shannon Hylton. Two great grandchildren Mark Davidson III, and Kayla Galyean, one brother James and several nieces and nephews.

He worked for Coca Cola Bottling Co. for forty-three years having retired in 2001. He was baptized into Christ in July 1972 and was a member of Midway Church of Christ and most recently Duhring Church of Christ.

Presiding over Willie's service was Preacher Glen Goins. As per his wishes there will be no public service, family only. His pallbearers were his three grandchildren, and Mark Davidson Sr., Roger Bailey, and James Brunk. Honorary Pall bearers will be his great grandchildren.
