William McGowan Banks, 74 of Princeton, WV passed away at his home Sunday, August 17, 2025. Born August 5, 1951, he was a son of the late William McGowan Banks Sr. and Mary Goldsmith Banks. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Banks.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Deborah "Debbie" Banks, sons, William Banks III and wife, Christy; Bryan Banks, Andrew Banks and his significant other, Kristen; Jennifer Tuell and husband, Mark, Dylan Proctor and wife, Leah; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated with no services planned.
