Ruth Elizabeth Wright went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 91 in Clermont, Florida. Born on April 17, 1934, in Bluefield, West Virginia to Walter & Ruth Hawkins. Ruth was better known as Libby. Libby was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, great-aunt and friend whose faith and love touched the lives of all who knew her.

Libby was preceded by the love of her life, husband and childhood friend, Fred W. Wright of 68 years. She is survived by her daughter, Vicky D. Wright of Clermont, Florida. Libby lived a life of faith and resilience, always putting the needs of others above her own. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Orlando, FL. She was a woman of prayer and a quiet faithful servant of the Lord.

Libby was laid to rest on June 12, 2025 at Monte Vista Cemetery in Princeton, West Virginia.
