Roxie Maxine Underwood, 85, of Moneta, VA, went to be with our Lord and Savior, on Wednesday August 12, 2020, she passed peacefully with her daughter by her side. Roxie was born in Lillybrook, WV to Alexander H. and Nellie B. (Coffey) Boley. She was a former resident of Bluefield, WV and resided in Moneta, VA for the past 30 years. She was retired as a Department Manager of J.C. Penny's of Mercer Mall in Bluefield, WV. Roxie was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, and Friend. Family was of the utmost importance to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Eugene Underwood, whom she was married to for 57 years, a sister, Amanda Greene, half-sister, Tiny Coffey, and a half-brother, Alvie Boley.

She is survived by her son, Eugene Frank (Patricia) Underwood, Jr., of Bland, VA, her daughter, Susan Greever of Bluefield, WV., her grandchildren, Danielle (Kyle) Gallo of Atlanta, GA. And Megan Greever of Charlotte, NC. And one great grandchild, Amelia Gallo of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Steve Greene of Beckley, WV., Charlie Greene, of Beckley, WV., Brenda Loveland of Ponte Vedra, FL., Judy Whelan of Jacksonville, FL. And David Greene of Beckley, WV.

Private family burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family has requested that in lieu of flowers, all memorial contributions be made in Roxie's name to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.support.woundedwarrior.org
