Ronnie Dale Ross, age 70 of Princeton, WV passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 at his home. Born July 3, 1952, in Princeton, WV, he was a son of the late Shirley Carl Ross and Madeline Loraine Pennington Ross. Ronnie was a 1975 graduate of Matoka High School and went to work for a short time at Pepsi Cola. He then went to work at Holly Fuel #12 Mines as a coal miner. He was of the Christian faith. Ronnie was a huge sports fan, especially baseball and wrestling. He loved rocking in his rocking chair while watching westerns. Ronnie liked spending time with his friends in the apartment complex and going out to local shops just to get out and about. He truly cared about people and never met a stranger, and wasn't a stranger to anyone else. He was willing to help anyone at any time, even if it meant giving the shirt off of his back. He was loved so much and will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Weaber and Juanita Weese; and one nephew, Dale Weese.

Those left to cherish his memory include one brother, Anthony Ross and wife, Ellen of Princeton, WV; one sister, Glenna Weise and husband, James (Casey); Special niece, Frances Weise of Hiawatha, WV, Pamela Crigger of Peterstown, WV, and Aretha Conley of Beaver, WV; nephews, James Weise Jr. of Hiawatha, WV, Anthony Carl Ross of Princeton, WV, Dwayne Weese of Hiawatha, WV, Freddy Weaver, Bobby Sartin, and Mark Davis; also, special friend and caregiver, Paula Adams.

In keeping with his wishes, Ronnie will be cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
