Robert H. Tibbs SR. Passed away on January 26, 2021.
Born on June 12, 1943.He will be greeted in Heaven by his mother and father, Daisy and Herbert Tibbs; his sisters, Phyllis Choate and Betty Hagenrater and his brother, Harvey Tibbs.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, neighbor, and teacher. A true renaissance man who cared deeply for everyone around him.
He absolutely loved to create whether it was a physical object (of course made of leather,) music from any number of instruments, using his profound voice to sing, or to make gravy on a cold winter's evening.
He is cherished by his adoring wife Diane. His daughters Jenifer and husband Scott Spears,Stephanie and husband Joe Crouse. Sons Robby and wife Shanna Tibbs, Josh and wife Toni Tibbs.
His grandchildren Zoe, Michael, Marissa, Cole, Phoebe, Heidi, Raegan, Riley, Hannah, Kaden, Nahla, Amara, and William.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking friends to donate to the charity of their choice in Robert's name. Services will be held privately Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial in Princeton, WV.
Due to the Governor's mandate, masks and social distancing will be observed. RoseLawn Funeral Home Princeton, WVis in charge of the arrangements.
A public memorial service will be planned for a later date held in War, WV.
