Robert Lee Carriger, 74, of Bluefield, WV passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Bob, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Welch, WV on October 1, 1948 to the late Albert, Sr. and Bessie Carriger. After graduating high school, Bob attended Bluefield State College. He earned his bachelors degree in education. Bob began his career in law enforcement in 1971. He honorably served his community with the Bluefield Police department until 1995. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Carriger, Sr. Left to cherish Bob's memories are his sister, Peggy (Wendell) Spratt of Bastian, VA; special friend, Tammy Horsley of Penhook, VA; and a host of family and friends.
