Mr. Richard Frye, 64 of Lester, WV, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House. He was born June 1, 1955 in Mullens, WV to the late Basil Cook and M. Ilene England Cook. Richard began his employment after graduation in 1973 with the Wyoming County Board of Education as a custodian and retired after 35 years of service. Richard enjoyed working, painting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 40 years, Mary Ann Vaughan Frye, one brother, Ron Frye and wife Lura, and one sister, Iris Manning and husband Jimmy. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Richard's life will be conducted in the Chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home, Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 2:00PM with Pastor Charles McKinney Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00PM.
