Rebecca Lynn Moretto, age 57, of Princeton, WV passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026. She was born in Princeton, WV, September 18, 1968 to the late Chester Ray Peyton and Brenda Carol Blevins. Rebecca was a graduate of Matoaka High School in 1987. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and had a lifelong appreciation for nature. Her favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, beekeeping, and gardening with her husband of 38 years, Stephen Moretto. She truly appreciated the beauty and peace that nature provided. Rebecca was also a faithful member of Mount Olive Community Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents. 

Those left to cherish her memory include husband Stephen Moretto and sisters Cathy Pendergrass and Sandra Shrewsbury. 

A funeral service will be held for Rebecca on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV with Pastor Wayne Sanders officiating. Interment will follow immediately after the service at a private family cemetery.
