Priscilla Proffit, also known as Sue from Bastian, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 29, 2021, at the age of 89. She was born to the late Fred and Lillian Linkous.

She was known for being a loving mother, wife, daughter and a genuine kind person.She loved to read and enjoyed going to prayer meetings.She took pleasure in the beauty of the mountains as well as flowers and animals.

Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Purvey Proffit; one sister, Mary DeSantis and her son, Allen Perdue.

Those surviving left to honor her memory are her loving sister, Effie Austin; her brother, John Linkous and her children, Wanda Dias and Connie Sody.Also surviving her are eight grandchildren, nine great-children and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be Friday, April 2, 2021 at 10:30 at the Roselawn Funeral Home located at 450 Courthouse Road in Princeton, WV, with Graveside Service beginning at 11:00 in the Roselawn Cemetery with Minister Frank Horn officiating.
