IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Phyllis
Roberts
December 5, 1959 – August 25, 2025
Phyllis Ann Roberts, 65 of Iaeger, WV passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at Charleston Area Medical Center. Born December 5, 1959 she was a daughter of the late Miles Roberts and Aileen Lester Roberts. In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her son, Michael Shawn Breeden; sister, Freddie St. Clair Combs; and brother, Bobby Roberts.
Phyllis was a hard worker and took great pride in taking care of her children and grandson. She was of the Christian faith and attended Silver Spring Baptist Church. Phyllis loved ancestory.com and learning about the heritage of her family roots. She faithfully read her bible in the mornings while enjoying her cup of coffee. Phyllis loved to shop, specifically at Belk, and JCPenney, where she ended up purchasing mostly for her family instead of herself. In her younger years, she was a strong, feisty, independent woman who taught people the meaning of hard work and dedication which shines through in her family each and every day. Phyllis loved her family more than she could describe, and of all things, she lived for them. They were her greatest pride and joy. Phyllis was the best mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Douglas "Richie" Breeden; daughter Ida "Michelle" Breeden; brothers, Stevie Roberts, and Roy Roberts; sisters, Glenna Roberts, Debbie Graham, Patricia McLean, and Dianne McPeak; and her one and only grandson, William S. D. Breeden.
