Phyllis Ann Mundy, 75, of Bluefield, Virginia, passed away December 30, 2020 at her home. Phyllis was born April 12, 1945 to the late Geneva and Conley McGlothlin. Phyllis was employed at St. Luke's Hospital for over 30 years. Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Earl W. Mundy. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Tommy, and Morgan McGlothlin. Phyllis enjoyed drinking coffee, dancing, and playing the piano. Survivors include her sister Rita Lewis of Peterstown, West Virginia and sister Connie Williams and husband Herbert of Bluefield, West Virginia. Phyllis also had many loving nieces and nephews. Phyllis enjoyed setting on the porch with her little dog named "Coco". The family would like to give a special thank you to the surrounding neighbors for looking out for Phyllis. In addition, the family thanks Norma Jean from Nebraska for keeping Phyllis company. They both enjoyed drinking coffee and setting on the porch together. Also, Missy Holleman of Bluefield, Virginia helped keep Phyllis company. A viewing will be held Monday, January 4, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:00PM for immediate family at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia with Walter Bonnel Jr. officiating. Friends are welcome from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. The service will start at 2:00PM. Special nephews will serve as pallbearers, Michael and Clayton Williams, Keith and Mark McGlothlin, Thomas McGlothlin, and David Gullett.
