Paul Green Hylton, age 83, of Princeton, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on November 18, 2021, surrounded by his family, after a long illness.

Paul was born on July 20, 1938 in Athens, WV to Guy Hylton and Berdetta White Hylton.

Paul was predeceased by his wife, Gladys Hylton; brothers:Ted, Frank, and Robert Hylton; and sisters: Betty Hill and Frida Hill.

Paul is survived by his beloved children:Charlotte (Vince) Bumgarner of Lakeland, FL and David (Dorothy) Hylton of Princeton, WV; special granddaughter, whom Paul helped to raise: Penny (Gabe) Wood of Princeton, and other adored grandchildren: Austin Cameron and Addison Hylton of Princeton; two great-grandchildren: Elijah and Gretchen Wood of Princeton; fond siblings: Verlie Sutphin of Norfolk, VAand Clyde Hylton of Richmond, VA; a very special mention to his dedicated Schnauzer dog, Frisky; and step-children: Peggy Robertson and Dale Robertson.

The family would like to give special thanks to Sabrina Poore, and all the compassionate nursing staff at Compassus Hospice, who lovingly helped to care for Paul.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Monday, November 22, at the Roselawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton, WV24740.A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM.Entombment Roselawn Cemetery.
