Patricia Sue "Patty" Tackett Belcher 52 of Kernersville, NC formerly of Kimball and Amarillo, TX passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at her residence.She was born March 4, 1967 to Patton F. Tackett and Mary Bishop Steele.Ms. Belcher was a member of Parkview Church of God in Kernersville, NC.She enjoyed her pets, working in her flower garden, being with her family, and participating in church activities.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son Johnny Allen Belcher, Jr.Survivors include her mother Mary Steele and husband Darrell of Bluefield, a daughter Jessica Dawn Cooper and husband James of Borger, TX, two sisters, Nancy Deweese and husband Lee of Bluefield, and Darlene Tritt and husband Douglas of Peterstown, one grandson James A. Cooper of Borger, TX,a nephew Dustin Joseph Tackett, a great niece Kyla Grace Tackett, two great nephews, Kane Michael and Kole Benjamin Tackett, and her special friend Peggy Pope of Kernersville, NC.A Celebration of Patty's Life will be conducted at 2:00pm Tuesday October 1, 2019 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bobby Dishman.Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
