Norma "Sue" Burnette McPherson, 78 of Princeton passed away following a sudden illness on March 13, 2020. She was born on November 25, 1941 to the late Elmer Clarence and Norma Conner Burnette. Sue worked as an office manager and enjoyed reading and watching the ID channel. She also enjoyed cooking, the beach, but most importantly spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by one grandchild, Christopher Keatley, one sister, Anna Frye, and one brother-in-law, Wayne Shrader.
Those left to cherish her memory include five sons, Thomas "Robin" McPherson and wife Mary of Hagerstown, MD, Michael McPherson of Princeton, WV, Jeff McPherson and wife Zekara of Princeton, WV, James McPherson of San Francisco, CA, and Danny McPherson and wife Heather of Leesburg, VA, two daughters, Sherri Pendleton of Green Valley, WV and Melissa Keatley of Princeton, WV, one brother, Roger Lee Burnette of Princeton, WV, and one sister, Karen Shrader of Princeton as well as 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Sue's life will be held at 3:00PM Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel in Princeton with Pastor Danny Gunnoe officiating.Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.The family will receive friends from 2:30PM until the time of the service on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sue's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
