Norma Jean Sanders Kingrea

Norma Kingrea (Sanders), 90, gained her wings on September 13, 2023. Norma was born on February 10, 1933 to the late Riley and Pearl Sanders in Mercer County, West Virginia.

On November 11, 1960, Norma married her soulmate, the late John "Monk" Kingrea. They lived a happy life in Maryland where they had son, John "Rocky", and daughter, Sharon . After Monk's retirement, they settled in Princeton, West Virginia.

Norma loved gospel music and butterflies. She loved to be with her family, especially her great-granddaughters.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, four sisters, and her husband. She is survived by her sister, Alma Hall of Princeton, West Virginia, her son, Rocky of Manassas, Virginia, her daughter and son in law, Sharon and Don Mapp of Hampton, Virginia, granddaughters, Heather and Brittany Mapp of Hampton, Virginia, great granddaughters, Aria Powell and Alesana Kisena of Hampton, Virginia, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 19th at 1PM at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV, followed by graveside services at 2PM.
