Nellie Lucille "Lucy" Hurt Keffer, 71 of Princeton, passed away Thursday March 4, 2020 at Glenwood Nursing Home.She was the daughter of the late Millard and Mary Elizabeth Hurt.Lucy was of the Pentecostal Faith.She enjoyed playing Bingo, poker machines, and spending time with her family.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Ralph Keffer, a son, Ralph Keffer, Jr., two brothers and four sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Linda Williams and husband Bobby, Margaret Bixby and husband Chris, two grandchildren, Anna Davis and husband Ernie, Jr., and Chris Bixby and wife Kayla, six great-grandchildren, Chase, Caylee, Jasmin, Leland, Chris, Jr., and Karson, two sisters, Geraldine and Minnie Farmer, a special niece Diane Luciano, her beloved dog, Smoky, special friends, Ronald and Maggie Auton, Shirley Harvey, Rosa Davis, and Dennis Sigmon, A host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Celebration of Lucy's life will be held at 1:00PM Monday March 9, 2020 in the Chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor James "Jiggs" Coburn officiating.Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00PM Monday at the funeral home.Serving as pallbearers will be Harry Archer, Matthew Williams, Chris Lawrence, Michael Lawrence, Andy Jones, and Steve Williams.
