Michael Shawn Breeden, 43 of Princeton, WV passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born November 13, 1980, he was a son of Douglas Richard Breeden Sr. and Phyllis Ann Roberts. Michael was a graduate of Princeton High School where he excelled at football. Later, Michael developed a love for golf, reading books about geography and history, watching scary movies, and working in the asphalt business with his brother, Richie. He was of the Christian faith and took pride in giving his life to the Lord. Michael was a fun person who loved to laugh, and despite not always feeling well, he made the most out of each day. He cherished spending time with his family, but nothing compared to the time he spent with his nephew, William in which he treated as a son for 14 years.

Michael is preceded in death by grandmothers, Ailene Lester Roberts and Pearl Breeden; and uncle, Bobby Roberts.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Douglas "Richie" Breeden; sister, Ida "Michelle" Breeden; and one nephew that he loved more than anything in the world, William Shawn Douglas Breeden.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Silver Springs Baptist Church, family members and friends for the meals, calls, visits, love and support they have shown during this very difficult time.

The family will receive friends at Roselawn Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 21, 2024 beginning at 12:00PM. Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM with Pastor Mike McGraw officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
