Mary Nell White, 91 of Montcalm, WV passed away February 3, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born February 5, 1934 she was a daughter of the late Robert Hart and Lessie Winebarger Hart. Mary Nell loved her God Jehovah and being a great servant to Him, She was a secretary for Mercer County Schools for 32 years until her retirement. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and her puppies, Bitzi, Carley, and Dori. In her final moments she was in the loving care of her daughter, Becky and daughter in law, Selena. She and her siblings had a great love for each other and remained close no matter their distance. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Gene White; son, Randy White; grandchildren, Jamie Hurt and Robbie Hurt; brothers, Junior Bob Hart, Claude Hart, and Jack Hart; daughters in law, Rita White and Kim White.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Hurt- Griffith; daughter in law, Selena Jarvis; sisters, Virginia McMillan and Shirley Summers; brothers, Carl Hart (Carol) and Jerry Hart (Dorothy); sister in law, May Hart; granddaughters, Kelly Adams (Matt) and Rena Lambert (Sam); 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm with Elder Rich Jude officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Jared, Bill, Matt, Rod,  Killian, and Sam will serve as pallbearers.
