Mary Edna (Hartwell) Tilley, 89 of Princeton, WV died Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Princeton, WV. Born January 2, 1936 in McComas, WV she was the daughter of the late Annie Jane and Cletis Hartwell.

Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed car rides, quilting, and sewing. She loved going to church when her health permitted. Mary's greatest pleasure was spending time with her family, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren whom she adored. They brought her tremendous joy and she loved watching them grow. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Tilley and one infant son, Jimmy E. Tilley.

She is survived by two sons, James E. "Pete" Tilley, Jr., and Jeffrey E. Tilley; two grandchildren, James E. Tilley III and Chelsea Holdren; two great grandchildren, Aubrey and Brayden Tilley; three sisters, Rita Thompson, Sandra Caldwell (Virgel) and Frances Southern (Walter); one brother, David Hartwell; and her grandson's mother, Sharon.
