Mary Kathleen Hales Chambers, age 63, passed away on April 11, 2025. She was born in France, November 23, 1961, to the late Edward Hales, and Elizabeth Jewel Barker. As a young girl, whose father was in the Army, she traveled to several different countries, until they settled in Eccles, West Virginia when Mary was in grade-school. As an adult, Mary was a very intelligent woman who successfully owned and operated her own bar for many years. She loved all kinds of popular music and enjoyed dancing. Mary also enjoyed spending time with Abraza and Vicky; Both were her caregivers, and more importantly her friends, who lovingly called her "Mary-Kat." She cherished spending time with her niece, Ginny Marie, by taking her shopping every opportunity she had.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Chambers, and her three sisters, "Ina Bo," Debbie, and Marie.

She is survived by her son Maxwell Chambers and one grandchild; niece Ginny Marie; and loving friend, and caregiver, Vicky Roles, whom she always called "Dolene," and Abraza.

In keeping with Mary's wishes, she will be cremated with no services scheduled at this time.
