Saying good-bye is never easy saying good-bye makes me so sad
But if I think I'll be saying hello again then good-byes aren't half as bad
On Friday, September 9, 2022 Marie Elaine "Susie" Sizemore departed this life and said "hello" to friends and family she hadn't see in quite a while.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a retired nurse who dedicate her life to helping others.
Born July 25, 1958 to the late Frank and Elizabeth Brooks. She was preceded in death by her brothers Roger, Randy and Tommy Brooks. Her son Wendle Hopkins, Jr., her husband Donald Sizemore and a great granddaughter Natalie Faith Patterson.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters Tanya (Hootie) Muncy, Angela Hall and Rebecca Hopkins who were with her when she said hello to those in heaven. She had six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren that she loved and adored. Matthew Muncy, Jenna Patterson, Caitlyn Forrest, Haleigh, Tyler, and Caleb Mullins, Owen and Ayden Muncy, Zoey and Emberlynn Patterson, Adalynn and Haven Mullins and baby Forrest due in January.
She is survived by a sister Gloria Faye Muncy. Brothers Charles, Frankie and Michael Brooks.
In addition she leaves behind a host of friends and co-workers who were like family to her. She impacted a lot of lives during her profession as a nurse and will be greatly missed by every life that she touched.
Pastor Virgil Green will conduct graveside rites at 11am on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum 450 Courthouse Rd. Princeton, WV to celebrate the life of the strongest woman we know. We will forever remember her as a coffee drinking Warrior.
We will not say good-bye for that would also make us sad but the next time we meet its-hello
