Macie Elizabeth Sawyers, 55, passed away on August 18, 2026. She was born May 8, 1971, to parents Ashby Mohon and Ilene Goad. Macie loved fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. Whether by the water or around a campfire, she enjoyed the simple things in life and making memories with family and friends. Macie was also a devoted fan of the YouTube show, "Josh & Momma," which brought her many hours of laughter and enjoyment.

Macie is preceded in death by her parents Ashby and Ilene; sisters, Tina Green and Tammy Goad; and nephew Jason Green.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Dennis Sawyers; children, Christine Sawyers; Dennis Sawyers Jr., David Green, and Patricia Sawyers; brother, Ashby Mohon Green Jr.; niece Jennifer Widener; and family friend April Shrader.

Macie will be remembered for her love of nature, her kind heart, and the time she shared with those she loved. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
