Lois Irene Jenkins Comerose, age 63 of Lashmeet, WV passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 22, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Arlion and Marie Jenkins. Lois was a huge fan of the Mountaineer and Steelers football teams. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and Sudoku. Lois and her husband enjoyed riding side by sides together. Lois was protective of those she loved and would do anything to help a friend in need. Lois, above all, loved spending time with her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and good friend to everyone she knew. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Bradley Jenkins.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 48 years, Patrick Comerose Sr.; son, Patrick Comerose Jr.; mother in law, Thelma Comerose; brothers, Arlion Jenkins Jr. and wife Janice, David Jenkins and wife Geneva, Curtis Jenkins; special brother in law, Terio Comerose; sisters, Darlene Linkous and husband, Roger, Marlene Neely and husband , Ray, Sharon Shrewsbury and companion Donald Green, Debbie Smith, and Peggy Jenkins; brother and sister of the heart and life long friends, Robert Martin and Anita Bowling, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Princeton Hospital Oncology as well as Dr. Groten and Jenny.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11AM at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV with Pastor Justin White officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family asks for anyone attending the service to wear casual WVU clothing.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society (1013 W Neville St, Beckley, WV 25801).
