Lily Mae "Ruby" Roberts, age 68 of Lerona, WV passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV. Born April 1, 1954 in Iaeger, WV to the late Dennis Osborne and Dorothy Hunt Osborne. Ruby was of the Christian faith. She loved to garden, decorate, craft, spending time outside, and celebrating Christmas. She loved all animals, but her dogs were her favorite. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Osborne, Randy Osborne, Sr., Whitten Osborne, and Randy Osborne.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Bobby Roberts. Bobby and Ruby celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 20, 2022. She is also survived by a daughter, Tina Louise Roberts Dent and husband, Harold of Athens, WV; two brothers, William Osborne of Princeton, WV and Lawrence Osborne of Athens, WV; four sisters, Fannie McCoy of Bradshaw, WV, Alaifair Christian of Gilbert, WV, Helen Powell of Beckley, WV, and Sadie Riffe of Brushfork, WV; and three grandchildren; Aliya, Keyshawn, and Brandon.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV where funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM with Pastor Stanley Metz officiating. A private burial with the family will follow in Roselwan Cemetery.
