Leona Jewel Blackburn passed on August 17, 2020 at her home in Ballard, WV. She was the daughter of later Jesse and Marie Hammons.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jess Blackburn, 3 beautiful daughters, 1 son, 2 deceased daughters, 4 lovely sisters and 2 brothers, 4 deceased brothers and many nieces and nephews and grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. She adored all her in-laws and neighbors.

Leona loved to cook, clean, and read and be with her friends from Lindside Senior Center. She as loved by everyone who knew her.

Services for Mrs. Blackburn will be held graveside at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 12:00 PM. Services are entrusted to Roselawn Funeral Home of Princeton. You can visit our website at www.roselawnmontevista.com.
