Kathy Ann Collins, 72 formerly of Big Sandy, WV passed away peacefully Sunday, July 7, 2024. Born June 25, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Maxwell (Fuzz) Fairbanks and Della Bishop Fairbanks. Kathy took great pride in keeping an open door for all of the children to feel welcome in the Big Sandy area. Kathy is preceded in death by two sisters; Dixie Lee Chavez (N.M.), Delores Jean Murdoch (AZ); brother, Harold Ray Fairbanks.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Roger Collins; son, Aaron and wife, Tammy of North Carolina; siblings, Dyson Fairbanks of Somerset, KY, Larry Dean Fairbanks and wife Brittany and their son, Isaiah of Pineville, WV, Rota Joyce Alley of Casa Grande, AZ, Brenda Hall Mullins of Big Sandy, WV; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In keeping wit her wishes, Kathy will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV on July 25, 2024 beginning at 1:00PM with Reverend Danny Blackburn, a long time friend officiating. All are welcome to attend a luncheon after the service.
