Julie Ann Worley, 77, of Penhook, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. She was born on September 20, 1945 in Springton, WV to the late Howard and Lola Coomes. In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Worley, grandson, Nicolas McCroskey, sister, Patsy Crotty, and brother, Keith "Buck" Coomes.
Julie married her late husband , Darrell Worley, in 1971 after meeting at the drive-in. She stayed home and raised her two daughters before starting her career as a school bus driver. She retired from Wyoming County Board of Education after 32 years of public service. Julie was the rock of her family. She was a great baker and upholsterer. From building a house to baking a cake, Julie could do anything she put her mind to.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1pm on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald McKinney officiating. The family will receive visitors at 12pm until the time of the service. Graveside rites will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
