Tabor

After a very brief illness, John (84) peacefully left this Earth for his Heavenly home Thursday, February 1st, 2024 while holding the hand of his devoted wife. Born July 20, 1939 he was a son of the late HC and Arlie Tabor. John enjoyed tinkering with small engines and going to auctions as well as being an excellent hand at woodworking. He was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne Division where he confidently earned his wings. John spent eighteen years as a coal miner and was a UMWA member. He retired from over the road truck driving after fifteen years of owning and operating his own business, John S. Tabor Trucking. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by eight siblings and his four legged, best boy and spoiled buddy, Buck.
