John Lee Sullivan, aged 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. John was born April 27, 1961, in Columbus, Mississippi. With his father in the army, he grew up traveling all over the world. He would follow in his father's footsteps by joining the Army in 1980. After serving three years in the army, he was honorably discharged in 1986 and would go on to operate his own masonry business. John was a very loyal, compassionate, and giving person. He would do anything for anyone who was in need; never asking for anything in return. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his infant twin brother, and his sisters Brenda Shortridge, Janey Sullivan, and Terri Watson.

Those surviving include his loving wife, Diana Sullivan, who was by his side until the very end; son, Jonathan Sullivan; daughter, Jennifer Sullivan; Mary Horne, who was like a daughter to him, and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
