Joe H. Nunnery, passed away Friday April 2, 2021, at Princeton Memorial Hospital. He was a loving husband of more than 65 years to Virginia Maxwell Nunnery, the love of his life. Joe loved the holidays, spending time with his family, and sitting on his porch talking to friends.He was an avid baseball fan, who also coached many of baseball teams in lifetime, Little League was one of his favorite.After working a long career in Columbus, Ohio, Joe moved back to his beloved West Virginia with his wife, in his retirement, where he lived out his days, surrounded with family, friends and home.
Joe is preceded in death by both his parents, Thomas Nunnery and Nora Burchett Nunnery.

He is survived by his loving wife Virginia, two sons, Joseph Nunnery of Crumpler, WV, Kevin (Scott) his wife Vickie, of Columbus, Ohio, and one daughter Karen (Beth)Tabor, her husband Patrick of Pickerington, Ohio. Five grandchildren, Courtney Ruh, of Columbus, Ohio,Kelli Frye, of Lancaster, Ohio, Lindsay Tabor and Jaci Bragg, both of Columbus, Ohio, and Nicholas Tabor of Pickerington, Ohio.Along with five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Gregory, Kamryn, Kayla, and Christian, among many nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery, 450 Courthouse Rd., in Princeton, W.Va. at noon, on Tuesday, April 6, Pastor Mark Smearman will officiate services for the family.Military Honors will be held in dedication for honoring the service Mr. Joe Nunnery gave to his Country.
