James E. Davis "Jim" of Rock, WV passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on March 19, 2026. Jim was the son of James Powell and Ruth Webb Davis of Midway, WV. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Ellen Carol Kast Davis; daughters, Karen Kitts of Greensboro, NC, Stephanie Higgins and husband Andy of Spanishburg, WV, Jennifer Harmon and husband, Elmer of Beeson, WV; grandchildren, Samantha and husband, Josh of Bluefield, WV, Austin Harmon of Princeton, WV, Jaret Harmon of Beeson, WV, and Audrey Green and husband, Cody of Spanishburg, WV; great grandchildren, who were the sunshine in his life, Kaiden Bryant, Granger Green, Layla Bryant and Kymber Green; two sisters, Pat Harry and Carol McGonagle. Jim enjoyed his hummingbirds, playing with his grandkids and making candy for everyone. Private family services for will be held for Mr. Davis.
