Jacqueline Laverne Powell Harris, age 76 of Crumpler, WV passed away March 18, 2023 at her home. Born August 23, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Sessley James Powell and Eloise Zenobia Belcher Powell. Jacqueline was a member of Rice Chapel Baptist Church of Crumpler. She was a former employee of the Bluefield Sanitarium as a surgical tech and dedicated most of her life to caring for others, especially her mother. She loved animals, especially her cats. Jacqueline also enjoyed yard work and spending time outside. She and her son liked going on shopping to local stores on the weekends.

She is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Donald Elmore Harris; aunts, Myrtle Johnson and Sandra Belcher; and uncle Samuel Belcher.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Derek Harris and wife Ria; daughter Eloise Coeburn and husband Thomas; and two grandchildren, Thomas Coeburn, III and Sierra Harris.

The family will receive friends at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV from 1PM to 2PM Thursday, March 30, 2023. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated with no further services at this time.
