Iris Harless Williams, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Tazewell, Virginia.
She was born in Rocky Gap, Virginia to Luther and Lena Harless.Iris graduated from Rocky Gap High School and started her career while devotedly raising and caring for her family over the span of her 84 years.
She was considered "the salt of the earth" by those who knew and loved her.She always did for others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings - Marion Harless, Everett Harless, George Harless, Orville Harless, Paul Harless, L.M. Harless, Jr., Roy Harless and Violet Coffey and son-in-law Charles Grindstaff.
Survivors include two daughters - Suzanne Grindstaff of Tazewell and Elizabeth Boyd(husband Joe) of Tazewell; two grandsons - Andy Grindstaff of Williamsburg and Bailey Boyd of Tazewell, Virginia. Brother Glen Harless of Rocky Gap, Virginia and many beloved nieces and nephews.
