IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Howard
Call
March 27, 1948 – October 1, 2025
A poem written for Howard by a dear friend, Mark Milford.
"God looked across his Heaven and saw a place unfilled.
It would need a craftsman's hands, both steady, strong, and skilled.
So He searched across creation, through valleys, towns, and land,
until He found a faithful soul to be his helping hand.
The sparks of steel bore witness, the metal firm and true:
each piece became a story of the work Howard loved to do.
But time grew heavy on his frame, the tools too much to bear;
so God's voice came gently down: 'Come build with Me up here.'
Though his loss has left us saddened, his spirit carries on;
for all he shaped still reminds us how craftmanship lives on.
Now Howard rests in Heaven's glory, where joy shall never end,
awaiting those who love him most, to see his works again.
