Gloria Grey Monarchy, 95, of Keystone, WV passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. She was born December 29th, 1927 in Landgraff, WV to the late Charles and Dora Daugherty Brown. Gloria graduated from Northfork High School in 1946 and was a retired kindergarten teacher's aide for the McDowell County Board of Education.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Tania Monarchy; sisters Eva Hendricks and Donna Furches; a host of nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed.

In keeping with Gloria's wishes, there will be no services. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV.
