Fay Marie (Wimmer) Hale, 89 of Bluefield went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2020 at her home. Born in Bluefield, she was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker dedicated to raising her family. Fay enjoyed canning, cooking for her family, attending church making and making quilts. Most of all she loved her family especially all of her grandchildren.

Fay was predeceased by her husband John Hale, two sons, William and Forrest and daughter in law Sarah Hale.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Hale and wife Sherry, Roscoe Hale and wife Donna, Clayton Hale and wife Bessie, Marvin Hale and wife Kim, daughters, Jean Aliff and husband Garland, Diane Graham, Sharon Meachum and husband David, daughter in law, Tammy Hale, brother Roger Wimmer and wife Shirley, sisters Marguart Underwood and Marian Bailey, dear friends, Ruby Pilkins, Brenda Mooney, 26 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, June 8th from 1-3 PM at Roselawn FUNERAL HOME. A funeral service officiated by Pastor C.L. Morgan will begin in the chapel at 3PM and burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
