Everett T. Sigmon, Jr., 84, of Carswell Hollow, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Carillion New River Valley Medical Center. E.T. was born in Carswell Hollow in 1941 and was the son of Everett Sr. and Lettie May Sigmon. Everett attended Welch High School and graduated with his GED. Everett was a U.S. Army veteran. He attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Welch, WV. Everett married Connie Mallory in 1971, and together they enjoyed 53 beautiful years of marriage. He enjoyed his church family, working around the house, watching tv, and sitting on the porch with Connie, listening to his favorite music. 

Everett is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Irene Anderson and Jean Doss; and brother Kenneth Sigmon. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Connie of Carswell Hollow, WV; sister Carol (Bob) Wilson of Colonial Heights, VA; brother Leland Sigmon of Roanoke, VA; brother-in-law Jim Mallory of Princeton, WV; and brother and sister-in-law Fred and Lynn Hardee of Vivian, WV. E.T. also had a host of nieces and nephews.

Services for Everett will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV, Friday, April 24, 2026. The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Edward Laxton officiating. A graveside service will follow immediately after at 2:00 p.m. with full military honors. Brother Irish, Ron Mallory, Logan Mallory, Fred Hardee, Elder Kober, and Elder White will serve as pallbearers.
