Evelyn Kay Green-Terry was born March 16, 1954, in Welch, WV. Evelyn went to meet her lord and savior January 11, 2026, after a brief illness.

Evelyn was a resident of Bluefield, WV. Evelyn had traveled extensively living in Florida, Alabama, Colorado, Arizona, and North Carolina.

Evelyn is survived by her only child, daughter Lesley Powell, grandchildren Sydney and Gage Powell, brother Calvin Green and wife Cricket, niece Susan Jones along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Evelyn was loved by many friends dearly. She was a beautiful soul. She enjoyed spending time with her family, kitties, and gardening.

Evelyn grew up in West Virginia and attended Bramwell High School and Bluefield State University. She enjoyed her career in retail and rental management. Evelyn was a joy to spend time with, there was never a dull moment. Her family gave her the nickname "Madea." She was full of life and spunk. To know Evelyn, was to love her.
