Earl William Furches, 88 of Princeton WV went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2020 following a brief illness. He was born on January 27, 1932 in Gilliam, WV to the late Arthur and Stella Sturgill Furches. Earl was a member of Princeton Praise and Worship Center. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He enjoyed politics, home repairs, attending church, and spending time with his family and friends. Earl was a welding fabricator at Emico and retired after 41 years of employment.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and James Furches, and one sister, Irene Good. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years, Regina Elizabeth Furches of the residence, two daughters, Stephanie Reed and husband Tim of Locust Grove, GA and Kim Ponder and husband Carlton of McDonough, GA, one brother, Eugene Furches of Bolingbrook, IL, one sister, Sybil Belcher of Beckley, and one granddaughter, Samantha Reed.
The family will receive friends from 5PM-7PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Road, McDonough, GA 30252 on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 2PM.
