Donald Reed Levitt 71 of Bluefield passed away Tuesday March 3, 2020.He was born in Mercer County to the late George Riley and Grace Ayers Levitt.Donald attended the Pine Grove Church of Christ. He enjoyed attending church, reading his Bible, and sharing his faith with others.
He also enjoyed cooking for family and friends and enjoyed the holidays.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Kathleen Smith, and a brother Howard Marshall Levitt.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Crystal Levitt Evans of Yadkinville, NC four sisters, Betty Pennington of Bluefield, Nancy Brown and husband Gary of Bluefield, Linda Gail Snider of Hampton, VA, and Elizabeth Ann Albright and husband Bruce of Princeton, five brothers, William R. Levitt of Bluefield, George Riley Levitt, Jr., and wife Tammy of Canada, Edward Lee Levitt and wife Sandy of Paris, TN, Jerry Wayne Levitt and wife Wanda of Bluefield, and Jackie Eugene Levitt and wife Phyllis of Charlotte, NC.Three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive.
A Celebration of Donald's life will be conducted at 1:00PM on Friday March 6, 2020 in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Gary Lamie officiating.Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
