Donald James Day, 51, passed away November 2, 2020 in Princeton, WV.He was born January 07, 1969 in Welch, WV to the late Bonnie Day. Donald worked as a heavy equipment operator for Arcelor Mital.He loved being at work surrounded by his work family.He also loved spending weekends with family at cookouts and loved to make everyone laugh with his never-ending jokes.Donald was especially proud and loved his nieces and nephews.
Donald is survived by; his wife, Wanda Day, their son, Travis J. Day and his wife Joanna Day of Princeton, and a special nephew that he considered a son, Casey Lester and wife Jessica, as well as two brothers Timothy and Lyle Day.He will also be missed by grandson, Liam Day, his special great niece and nephew that he called his grandchildren Tanner and Wrenly Lester and, a mother and father-in-law he called mom and dad, Cecil and Maggie Roberts.Funeral services for Donald will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday November 6, 2020, in Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with pastor James "Dusty" Buckner officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at 12:00 PM.Friends and family serving as pallbearers will be Dougie Denton, Donald "P-Tom" Roberts, Jeremy Burks, Austin Denton, Joe Muncy, and Jason Hancock. Donald will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
