Donald Lee Burks, Jr. 58, passed away September 4, 2024 in Charleston, WV. Born, January 4, 1966, he was a son of Ruby Faye Stinson and the late Donald Lee Burks, Sr. Donald was a beloved son, husband, father and grandfather and his family meant the world to him. Aside from being a family man, Donald was a loving soul to anyone he knew, and enjoyed making new friends. Restoring cars, spending time in the woods, four wheeling, riding motorcycles were just a few of his favorite hobbies. Donald was loved unconditionally by all of his children, but especially his grandbaby, Delilah. In addition to his father, Donald Lee Burkes, Sr., he was preceded in death by his grandparent whom he loved dearly, "Maw and Paw" Burkes.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Ruby Faye Stinson; wife, Jessica Burks; son, Dakota Burks; daughter, Dominique Burks; brother, Terry Allen Burks; granddaughter, Delilah Jane Burkes; aunt, Dorothy Sinicrope; uncle, Allen Burks; and many members of the Burks family.

The family will receive friends from 10AM-11AM Friday, September 13, 2024, at Roselawn Funeral Home, Princeton, WV. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM with Pastor Lacy Griffith officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
