Diane Akers Tibbs, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, on July 27, 2025. She was born July 30, 1943, to the late Herman and Ruby Akers. Diane was very devoted to her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and neighbor. She was also a dedicated English and Spanish teacher for 38 years. She loved to crochet, and enjoyed making afghans for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be greeted in Heaven by her devoted husband of 55 years, Robert Tibbs, SR.

She is cherished by her brother David Akers; daughters Jenifer (Scott) Spears, and Stephanie (Joe) Crouse; sons Robby (Shanna) Tibbs, and Josh (Toni) Tibbs; grandchildren Zoe, Michael, Marissa, Cole, Phoebe, Heidi, Raegan, Riley, Hannah, Kaden, Nahla, Amara, and William; and great grandchildren Coen and Korbin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 12:00PM-1:00PM at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, West Virginia. Interment will follow Monday, August 4, 2025.
