Diana Kay Smith,69 of Princeton, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March12, 2021.
Born in Bluefield, Diana is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Glenn Smith.She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents John Witt and Mary Harrell Witt and a brother, Carroll Witt.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Cumberland Heights Baptist Church.
Diane was sweet and crafty and loved to garden and quilt. She was a member ofboth the Quilting Bee's and the Green Valley Woman's Club.
Those left to cherish her memories include her two daughters, Christy Murdock and husband Ronnie and Valerie Water and husband Mike.Also are her brother, David Witt; her sister Debbie Glass and her husband Mike and her Sister-in-law, Ethel Witt.In addition, she is survived by grandchildren, Anthony,Nikki, Cody and Ryan and Great Grandchildren Alice, Liam, Lacey and Willie and two nephews Shawn and Mark along with many friends.
Services will be held at Cumberland Heights Baptist Church at 1pm on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, with the Pastor Jim Kestner officiating.Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
