Della Sue Campbell, 66, of Lucoma, NC passed away on May 10, 2026 in Wilson, NC. She was born on November 17, 1959 in Mullens, WV the late Bernard R. Campbell Sr. and Lorene "Betty" Davidson Campbell. Della was a graduate of Mullens High School, class of 1977 where se served as Valedictorian. She later attended Concord College, graduating Magna Cum Lade with a Bachelor's degree in English and Sociology. She began her career as a proofreader and typesetter in Beckley, WV and North Carolina. Della was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. Della had a love for volleyball and was known for her daily five mile morning walks. 

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Daniels of Lucoma, NC; stepchildren, Kenneth A. Woolen (Wenday), Candyce L. Daniels (Akeem), and Courtney L. Daniels (Trent); mother in law, Eatherlene Hoskins; and special friend and caretaker, Myra Meeks. 

She is also survived by her siblings, B.R. Campbell Jr. (Nancy), W. Hopkins Campbell(Kathy), Dorothy Campbell Roach (David), Betty Jo Miller (Tony), and Robert "Jake" Campbell. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Rosa Campbell McKinney (Jerald), and brother Randall S. Campbell. 

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, at 2:00PM in the mausoleum chapel at Roselawn Cemetery, Princeton, WV, with the Reverend Steven Campbell officiating.
