David Arnold Lane, 70, of Bland, VA, passed away suddenly on July 21, 2021.David was born in Bluefield, WV.He was the son of the late Arnold and Lorena (Chinault) Lane.

David was a retired engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad.He lived in Kingsport, Tennessee for 20 years before recently moving back to this area after retiring.He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.His passion was for riding his motorcycles and enjoyed trips across the country.He loved his Boston Terrier, Yogi.

David is survived by son Michael (Amy) Lane and daughter Laura Lane; former spouse, Sharon Lane; brother Bobby (Jeanne) Lane and sister Debbie (Dale) Mullins; grandsons Jayden and Colin; granddaughter Jade; special companion Terri; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Relatives and friends may visit the Roselawn Funeral Home on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Funeral will immediately follow.Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
