David Shirley Knapp, age 93, of Princeton, WV, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2021.

David was born on June 3, 1928 to the late Howard Knapp and Elsie (Jennings) Knapp in Charles City, Virginia.

David was a proud veteran of the United States Army.He served his country dutifully for 9 years.

David was also predeceased by his devoted wife, the late Virginia (White) Knapp.

David is survived by his beloved daughter, Princess Walton; adoring grandchildren:Johnathan Seal, Travis Seal, and Adrianna (Billy Church) Seal; and fond great-grandchildren:Taylend Seal, Alyvia Seal, Jayden Seal, Devynn Seal,Carson Church, and Finley Church; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM on Friday, October 8th at the Roselawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton, WV 24740.A Funeral Service, officiated by Chaplain David Hershey, will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.Interment Resthaven Cemetery, Princeton, WV.
