Cora Lee Lambert Adkins 84 of Bluefield, WV passed away May 18, 2026 at her home. Born April 5, 1942 she was a daughter of the late Jessie Elander Lambert and Annie Bell Jones Lambert. Cora was a homemaker and spent the majority of her life taking care of her family. Cora loved to go shopping and every time she went she always came back with gifts for everyone but herself. She was a Godly woman and was known to sit outside in the sun, and witness to many people who walked by her. She never met a stranger and everyone she met loved her. she loved being outside in the sun and she would ride around in the car with her daughters just enjoying the time. She was the best mom, grandmother and great great grandmother. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Claude Vaughn Adkins; sisters, Biddie Pruitt and Freda Devor; brothers, James Lambert, Isaac Lambert, Charlie Lambert, and Dewey Lambert; son, Freddie Adkins and wife Carolyn Adkins; daughter, Claudette Lotts; grandson, Landon Sayers; son in law, Keith Honaker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Teddy Adkins and wife Melva; daughters, Susan Honaker and Maggie Ann Doggett; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver and friend, Jackie Kint.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 26, 2026 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV. Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM with pastor Aaron Edwards officiating. Graveside services will immediately following the service.

Josiah Honaker, Titan Sayers, Derek Doggett, Austin Snelling, Sammy Adkins, Brian Adkins will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearer will be Landon Sayers.
