Claude "Slick" Addison, 73 passed away on November 21, 2024 alongside one of his best friends, Ed Anderson. Born November 4, 1951, Slick was the son of the late Floyd Addison and Helen Markham Addison. Slick was a Sergeant in United States Marine Corp and a vietnam veteran and was very proud of serving his country. In his honor, he will be remembered as a fallen veteran with honors by the VFW Post 7136 of Tazewell, Virginia. Slick was an avid biker and loved more than anything getting his friends together and riding anywhere and everywhere they could travel. Through "Slick's tough appearance and persona, he was one of the best men and would do anything to help anyone in need. He was loved by so many and will be indescribably missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dreama Addison.
Those close friends that will keep his spirit alive include, Paul Lawrence, Ronnie and Jeanette Koger, sister-like friend, Kathy York, Pat York, Ron Deets, Jackie Bouvier, Mike "Smurf" Quesenberry, Carla Lane, Frostie Frost, Brothers of the Wheel, and many more friends from all members of the motorcycle organizations.
Family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Roselawn Funeral Home beginning at 12:00PM. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Entombment immediately following.
